Dawson Guzik is an accomplished young racer and 6th Grade student at Owen J. Roberts Middle School. Anyone who has met Dawson knows he enjoys having fun in everything he does. Dawson started his racing career, by followed in his brother’s footsteps driving Quarter Midgets. Dawson collected one Feature Win in his 5-year Quarter Midget career. Dawson started racing motocross in 2004 in the  90cc ProMod Motocross ATV division. In his first motocross season, Dawson finished 16th in points at Sleepy Hollow MX Park despite being one of the youngest riders in his division. In 2005, Dawson surprised everyone by collecting his first motocross win and finishing in 2nd Place in season points at Sleepy Hollow. 2006 produced another Top 5 points run, and in 2007 Dawson swtiched to 2 wheels, competing in the 125 4-stroke motocross class.  Dawson surprised everyone in his first season finishing second in overall points and winning the overall at the last race of the season.  This season, Dawson will challenge for the 125cc 4-stroke championship at Sleepy Hollow.

Personal

Away from the track, Dawson enjoys playing basketball, and all forms of extreme sports, particularly skateboarding, snow boarding, and jumping his bike. Dawson also enjoys music and plays the guitar. Dawson is supported by his parents, Margo and Dave, his brother, Bret, and sister, Brinley, and a great group of marketing partners.  Dawson is also a spokesperson for Race Against Drugs
