Solar energy leaders, My Generation Energy and Unutility Electric, have joined forces with NASCAR late model driver, Bret Guzik, to promote their green power initiatives. Starting with this weekend’s race at Lake Erie Speedway, they will join Cat Iron as principal sponsors for Bret’s red and white #04 Race Against Drugs Chevy Impala.
My Generation Energy provides a green-flag to checkered-flag service for renewable energy. My Generation Energy is a unique solar energy installation company serving residents, businesses, and investors in New England while reducing our dependence on foreign sources of energy. The proper design and installation of a fully grid-tied net metering system requires dedicated solar installation professionals. We provide a thorough site analysis; present a detailed proposal; file all the applications, contracts and forms; install and commission the system; and provide a monitoring and performance assurance plan. You just turn the key for renewable energy.
Unutility Electric-We are not the utility. We own the equipment that generates clean energy for businesses across New England. You may have an ideal site for harvesting solar energy but not the means to purchase a system outright. The Unutility steps in to help! This group of investor-owned companies purchases and owns the photovoltaic systems, receives the tax credits and other incentives and earns ongoing income from electricity production and Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECS). The businesses they partner with enjoy lower energy bills while doing their part to keep the air cleaner and reduce our dependency on foreign energy supply.
“I appreciate the commitment of both My Generation Energy and Unutility Electric to come on board for the rest of this season. Their support could not have come at a better time. This should make it a little bit easier for the team to get to the track this summer. They are cutting edge companies in their industry. Solar power is becoming really popular all over the country. I’m really excited for this opportunity to represent them and learn more about Green Power. I hope we can run well and continue to build our relationship for the future,” commented Guzik on the new partnership.
So far this season, Bret Guzik has captured three Top 10’s, including one Top 5, in four starts at the Northeast, PA oval. While Bret continues to chase his goals behind the wheel, this young man also has his priorities in order. Last weekend, he graduated from high school, and has enrolled for the fall term at Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville, VA to study motorsports engineering. Bret also serves as a member of the RAD Racing Team, participating as a driver spokesperson for Race Against Drugs.
